Money Counter Privacy Policy

Xerobi Labs ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Money Counter mobile application ("Money Counter" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Money Counter app. For our general terms, please see our Terms of Use.

1. Information We Collect

Money Counter is designed to work primarily on your device. Depending on the features you use, the App may store or process:

  • Cash counting records.
  • Currency settings and preferences.
  • Custom currencies and denomination values.
  • App configuration settings.
  • Backup and restore metadata.
  • Account information if you sign in (for example, email address or other identifiers provided through Firebase Authentication).
  • Data stored in Cloud Firestore when you use cloud-synced features.
  • Advertising identifiers and limited device information used by Google AdMob to show ads.

Most cash-counting data remains on your device unless you choose to back it up or use cloud features.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not intentionally collect:

  • Bank account numbers or banking credentials.
  • Credit or debit card numbers.
  • Government-issued identification numbers.
  • Personal documents uploaded by users.

Cash-counting records that stay only on your device are not accessed by us.

3. How Information Is Used

Information is used to:

  • Calculate cash totals and manage denominations.
  • Save and restore counting records.
  • Provide optional cloud backup and sync features.
  • Authenticate users when sign-in is used.
  • Display advertisements through Google AdMob.
  • Improve app stability, performance, and user experience.

4. Backup and Restore

Money Counter may provide optional backup and restore functionality using services such as Google Drive or Cloud Firestore.

  • When you back up to Google Drive, files are stored in your own Google account.
  • When cloud sync features are used, data may be stored in Cloud Firestore under your account.
  • Xerobi Labs does not access the contents of your personal backups.
  • You are responsible for securing your Google / Firebase account.

5. Analytics, Diagnostics & Advertising

The App may use Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar services) and Google AdMob. These services may collect limited technical information such as:

  • Device type and operating system version.
  • App version.
  • Crash logs and performance data.
  • Advertising ID (for ad personalization / measurement).
  • Approximate location or IP address (for ad serving).

This information is used to show ads, measure ad performance, improve stability, and enhance the user experience.

6. Third-Party Services

Money Counter uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

  • Google AdMob – for displaying advertisements.
  • Firebase Authentication – for optional user sign-in.
  • Cloud Firestore – for optional cloud data storage and sync.
  • Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics (if enabled) – for analytics and crash reporting.
  • Google Play Services.
  • Google Drive (for optional backups).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information may be shared only:

  • With Google / Firebase services as needed to operate AdMob, Authentication, Firestore, and related features.
  • To comply with legal obligations.
  • To protect the security and integrity of the App.
  • When required by applicable law.

8. Data Retention

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

Data stored in Cloud Firestore or Google Drive remains until you delete it or delete your account.

Advertising and analytics data is retained according to Google’s policies.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information and maintain the security of the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Firebase and Google services also apply their own security measures.

10. Children's Privacy

Money Counter is not directed toward children under the age required by applicable law (including under 13 in the United States).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
